John and Barbara Doyle

 

John was born in 1948 in Manchester, England. He committed his life to Christ at the age of 28 when an American missionary, Jack Moolman, led him to the Lord. He holds a Business and Theology degree. John is an ordained Baptist minister and minisers both locally and internationally.

 

Barbara was born in London and moved to Manchester as a young child with her Mom and Dad. She gave her life to Jesus in 1961 at a Billy Graham Crusade at the Manchester City soccer ground.

She is a qualified Nursing Sister and has a Masters in Pre Schol edcation. She started the first Christian school in Johannesburg in 1986 which now has a capacity of 350 children.

 

John and Barbara have been married for 44 years and have a son, Keith, who pastors Winnetka Bibe Church in Chicago USA and a daughter, Jenni who is a gospel singer and song writer. There other daughter, Kim, who had been sick with Celiac disease for 5 years, went to be with the Lord in 2009 at the age of 30.

Mike and Fiona Hittler

 

Mike was born in Cape Town in 1949. "I grew up in a Christian home and for as long as I can remember I have been aware that we are all sinners and that repentance and trust in Jesus is the only way to eternal life," he says.

 

Mike studied Road Transportation through Rand Afrikaans University. Further studies included Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He worked in the Petroleum Industry for 33 years, before God challenged him with the question: Do you want to impress people or do you want to influence them?" Since 2004 his focus has shifted; he has worked fulltime in networking to extend the footprint of Christian ministry in Southern Africa, this mainly through his work with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Mike now works full time for CMI.

 

Mike has been happily married to Fiona for 33 years. They have 2 children. Tessa, a Speech Therapist in Cape Town and Megan who is studying Psychology at UCT. Two older children, Wendy who is married and lives in Johannesburg and Peter who is married and lives in the UK serving with Derek Prince Ministries. They have 7 grandchildren.
